ConstitutionKERNOW HARLEY RIDERS CONSTITUTION
1. The Club shall be known as Kernow Harley Riders.
2. The Club is established to promote the way of life that Harley Davidson riders enjoy, to party on down, to offer support and help to all members and to help any charitable causes that cross our path.
3. The Club shall organise tours, excursions, motorcycle rallies, social events and competitions for members.
4. The club shall meet at least once a month.
5. Membership of the club shall normally be open to any Harley Davidson owner living in Cornwall.
6. A committee shall provide the management of the club.
7. The membership of the committee shall be elected at an annual general meeting. The committee of a President, Vice President, Chairman, Vice Chairman,
Treasurer, Secretary. These 6 shall be known as the Executive group, they will have overall responsibility for the work of the club. Other officers will be elected at this time to assist the executive group.
8. All decisions of the club shall be by simple majority vote. The President shall have a casting vote if necessary.
9. Non members may attend and speak at the meetings at the discretion of the club.
10. the annual general meeting shall be held at a venue and at a time decided by the Executive group. The business shall include the following;
a, An annual report, b, The club accounts. c, An election of a new committee if necessary,
d, any other matters which the committee deem appropriate.
11. Every member of the Club binds him/herself to abide by the rules of the club.
12. That the Kernow Harley Riders is not and shall not be considered in any way a “backpatch” club and the use of any club regalia shall not be permitted in any form without the express permission of the Executive group.
Rules
1. All members must live in Cornwall and own and ride a Harley Davidson, regular partners of members will also be welcomed, Persons living outside Cornwall can only obtain membership with the full vote of the Executive group.
