The long way homeOk.
Essjay, (with a twinkle in his eye, and a grin on his face) promised not to post this,
so I thought I had better do it myself before he does.
Went to Hayle last night, for the weekly bike meet at Mc.D's.
Lovely ride down, pulled off the A30, car park looked packed, loads of bikes there, went round the mini roundabout, pulled up level with the entrance to survey for a parking space, pulled across the road.......
pfffft!
Bike went dead! 
Coasted into the carpark! 
No tools with me! 
Despite the valiant efforts of Essjay and myself (thanks Essjay), it was a no go-er!
Not an inkling of a spark.
Had to get a recovery lorry home!

Oop's sorry misunderstood thought it was "Essjay" who had broken down, hope you get it going soon mate sounds electrical.???

What a bummer ,
Hope you sort it ,if its electics Good luck I had some fun with the dyna last week, wouldnt start then kept blowing fuses from the fuel pump  Found the wiring harness to the ecm connector had been squashed !
I cut it open with a Stanley knife blade to find a few damaged wires .
after cutting soldering & some heat shrink it was running again
I must add i was up all night trying to find the fault ,took hours .

No warranty Bandit? or was it just to far to go I guess, poor ole Oddball he didnt look happy at all. hope it's not too expensive mate

Cheers guys.
New right hand switch gear, wire break in the loom and a dodgy coil.
Got her back now.
Still have a splutter / spit at low rev coming out of over run.
Think it's drawing air in the manifold after the carb,
should be relatively easy after the rest of it!
